Owner and CEO of XO Espresso Bar

In 2022, Alex Schifter acquired XO Espresso Bar, a specialty coffee business that offers premium coffee and wellness drinks with a focus on exceptional service. He secured investor financing to acquire two café locations in Miami. As the CEO, Alex oversees the company’s business development, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), procurement, human resources, and payroll.

XO Espresso Bar has expanded into wholesale operations, and Alex is actively looking for new standalone locations and potential franchise partners. A new XO Espresso Bar location is set to open later this year in a prime luxury area of Miami Beach. Additionally, Alex secured a three-year exclusive consulting and coffee supply agreement with the international French patisserie Yann Couvreur, marking a significant collaboration in the business’s growth.
Co-Founder of Hello Arthur: Revolutionizing Healthcare Supply Chains

Alex co-founded Hello Arthur in 2021, a marketplace that connects healthcare providers directly with manufacturers to purchase medical and dental supplies. By cutting out the middleman, Hello Arthur allows customers to pass on significant cost savings. The company is named after Alex’s grandfather, Arthur Schifter, who played an essential role in distributing medical supplies during the AIDS pandemic.

Despite scaling Hello Arthur to six figures in revenue, Alex decided to wind down operations due to the challenges faced, redirecting his focus toward growing XO Espresso Bar.
